You and I are exactly the same on the issue of giving away something we no longer need. I would rather get rid of it and give it to somebody who can use it than to throw it out. I don’t even care about the money.

One thing I never do, though, is give out my address. I live in a three-unit building located next to a much larger apartment building. When I want to get rid of stuff on craigslist, I always give the address of the building next door, and I meet people out on the sidewalk. So far that has worked well for me.
