Wonderful writing. You told your story with humor, intelligence, and tremendous insight into the behavior of others.

Fortunately for you, you seem to still have all your marbles - probably to the chagrin of your offspring. I hope, for your sake, that you used artistic license to portray them as being more predatory than they really are.
