While I agree with the overall tenor of your statements, you have seriously over-generalized some of your statements.

When it comes to topics such as driving, parking, schools, free institutions, and socializing, the most important factor to count is that every state and most municipalities vary from place to place, since there is very little in these areas that have any kind of national norm.

I have been to Spain several times and I have always apprciated the focus on people spending time with their family and friends, which takes precedence over making money. For me, that would be a strong endorsement for living there.
