What can anyone possibly have in mind by "ranking" lakes? So #1 is supposed to be "the best lake" and #10 is supposed to be "the worst lake"?

Golden Gate Park is a beautiful place. We are fortunate to have its amenities for all of us to enjoy.

I like Stow Lake. I like Spreckels Lake. I never even knew the names of the other lakes and it never even crossed my mind to say that any lake was any better than any other.

It's all there for everyone - residents and visitors alike - to enjoy. Let's benefit from all of it. This is not the Olympics, the World Series, or the Super Bowl. Why turn it into a contest?
