Vocabulary changes, but ignornace and bigotry remain the same

“Woke” and “groomer” are newer words for twentieth century terminology that meant the same thing

“Politically correct” has become “woke”

When you look at this definition, the emphasis is on not offending people who are members of groups on the receiving end of discriminiation.

How can you not be on board with that?

I do not want to offend people in any way. It is part of my responsibility as a person who engages with other people to be sure that I am respectful to them in all the ways that I act and speak.

And yet there are people who criticize those of us who are careful with our words and behavior, as if it is undesirable to take into account the feelings of others.

Now take a look at this definition:

As you can see, there is barely a difference between these two terms. The Tucker Carlsons of the world continue to complain that there are people who dare to take the feelings and sensibilities of others into account when they open…
