Thank you for this. You prodded me to look over the writing that I have published here. I found three pieces that specifically mention my age, as well as a few that refer to my life experience, and, by inference, relate that I have something to say because I am older.

I can say that in my own writing, my intention was to speak only for myself, and not to generalize about others of the same age.
