Right you are. I have been to Madrid three times and LOVE it. It took a bit of getting used to, at first. My first time there was after having stayed in Barcelona for three weeks, in 1986, and I felt at that time that it didn't compare well. But since then, in subsequent visits, I have very much enjoyed the museums, the walking, and the new mercados, such as San Miguel - near Plaza Mayor - and San Antonio.

So glad you included a photo of the Atocha train station! Amazing to see what they have done to that space.
