In perusing the comments, I see that nobody commenting has had to endure doing this in a public forum. Fortunately, when they cut off a family member, this was all done privately.

Imagine if you had to do this in public. Two recent examples come to mind:

Christian Walker talking publicly about his father Herschel Walker. That's the more famous one.
