I have seen Psycho, the summer it came out. I was 13 years old. My brothers and I loved scary movies. It did the trick!

I also saw the first Star Wars movie, when it first came out. Saw it once. Never saw any others in the series. No interest no need.

"But say you have any way, so you don't sound like a jerk." ?????? Seriously?????? Why would you care????

Here's the thing: no matter what other people think about me, I know what I like, I know what I want to do, and I know what I don't want to do. It's none of my business what people think of me. If somebody thinks I'm a jerk for not seeing a movie, that's fine. It tells me a lot about them.

I'm sorry, but I don't have a need to see a movie just on the off-chance that it may come up in a conversation and I can join in on the discussion.

People can't know about everything. If a topic comes up that I don't know about, I'll just sit there and wait until something comes up that I do know about.

I think one of the big differences here is our ages. I am 75 years old. I don't know about other people, but I can say that, for myself, something that has happened to me as I age is that I care less about what other people think of me. I do what I need to do to appreciate my own life.

Caring about what people think about you is more of a younger person's concern. I have found it to be very freeing to be able to ditch that as I have gotten older.

Anyone who thinks I am a jerk is welcome to do that. I have plenty of people in my life I can spend time with happily.
